About me
My name is Eva Wiking, and I have always been driven by a curiosity about how people live, communicate, and create meaning in their everyday lives. My journey has taken me through studies in interior architecture, illustration techniques, product design, and graphic design – all fields where I have explored the interplay between form, function, and expression.
In recent years, I have worked with children with special needs. This experience has given me new perspectives and led me to develop communication aids for children with non-verbal diagnoses. Being able to combine creative design with something that can directly improve someone’s daily life is my greatest motivation.
I have always had an eye for detail and a deep understanding of people and their needs. My process often begins with observation – it might be something as simple as noticing the clutter in a friend’s jewelry box, or how a child without words finds ways to express themselves. From there, ideas take shape step by step, sometimes in close collaboration with the people I am designing for, and sometimes on my own.
Color, form, and art are my passions and my sources of inspiration. I am drawn to contrasts, to materials and expressions that can surprise, spark emotions, and ignite curiosity.
Today, I want to continue weaving together my experiences in design and human interaction. I am open to collaborations, freelance projects, and employment opportunities where I can contribute with my creativity, my attention to detail, and my commitment to creating solutions that both enrich and simplify people’s lives.
